WELCOME TO VANUATU

Vanuatu is located at the South-western Pacific Ocean which is about 1,750 kilometers east of Australia. The nation comprises approximate 80 islands, with a population of around 320,000. It is a common law country and the official language is English, French and Bislama. Besides, Vanuatu is a member of United Nations and Commonwealth of Nations. In addition, Vanuatu do not have exchange control, The Government do not impose personal income tax, corporation profits tax, capital gain tax and estate duty.

CITIZENSHIP PROGRAM - DSP

The Development Support Program (DSP) is an official citizenship program back up by the laws and regulations in the Republic of Vanuatu. DSP is fully supported by The Government of the Republic of Vanuatu. The Office of Prime Minister and Citizenship Commission are delegated to be in charge of the program.

George Andrews Consulting is a designated agent being appointed by The Government of the Republic of Vanuatu to promote the program worldwide and handle the relevant submission cases.

LEGAL BASIS

Vanuatu Citizenship Act [CAP 112] Section 13E stipulates that “The Minister is to prescribe by Regulation, the requirement for an application for citizenship by an investor under the Development Support Program.”

The Application for Citizenship is processed in accordance with:

  • Vanuatu Citizenship Act Section 13E of [CAP 112]
  • Citizenship (DSP) Regulation Order No. 215 of 2016
  • Citizenship (Amendment) Act No. 34 of 2018

OFFICIAL AUTHORIZATION

The program is fully supported by the following departments of Vanuatu Government.

  • Office of the Prime Minister
  • Ministry of Internal Affairs
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • Ministry of Finance
  • Citizenship Commission
  • Department of Immigration and Passport Services
  • State Law Office
  • Financial Intelligence Unit

NOMINATION ELIGIBILITY

The applicants of the program must meet the following eligibility requirements.

  • Individual of age 18 or above
  • Contribute to the Vanuatu Government for a specified amount as a support to the development of the country
  • No criminal record
  • Of high standing in his/her community organization, society or country of origin
  • The main applicant’s spouse, children of age below 18, unmarried children of age between 18 and 25 who are receiving full-time education, and parents over the age of 50 may also apply along with the main applicant
